The year was 1996, not too long ago.

The night sky was covered with so many stars that the moon paled in comparison. I was quietly sketching in my room and absent-mindedly looking out my window when I thought I saw not one but two stars in the far corner of the sky glowing brighter and brighter. Was I dreaming? As quickly as they appeared, the stars suddenly dropped out of sight, leaving a silvery arc of stardust behind.

It must be getting late, I thought. Suddenly, a little creature magically appeared on the sheet of paper in front of me. At the time, I had no words to describe what it looked like, but I felt its presence very clearly, and it warmed me from within. It felt like part sky and part laughter . . . with more colors than a rainbow and a terrific smile!

This was Muchas. My life has never been the same since.

Although I didn't know it for several years, Poquitos was around also, but happily lost in the scents, colors, and beauty that it found after landing on Earth with Muchas. In time, Poquitos caught up to its travel partner, and I got to know them both quite well."Draw us" they told me. Nobody else could see them except me. Nobody else knew where—or how—to look,
so it became my job to share Muchas & Poquitos with others by drawing what I saw.

So I drew and drew, and pretty soon my entire world became colors and light. Their infectious smiles covered my walls, my canvases, a hundred pieces of paper, and all kinds of objects.

I knew that Muchas 'n' Poquitos needed me as much as I needed them, and the more I listened, a "truth" began to reveal itself. For the past 9 years, they have touched everything in my life, forever changing the way I see and what I let myself see. The most important thing that Muchas 'n' Poquitos have taught me is that it is important to love who you are and everything about yourself, because that is the greatest gift you can give to the world! Everything, big and small, is part of a greater whole. We all came from love.

That is how I met Muchas 'n' Poquitos. It makes me happy to share what I see with you. Welcome to our world!
